700th Rally

"The North Centre, Scottish Caravan Club
celebrated a milestone in its 55 year history with a 700th Rally held in
Monaltrie Park, Ballater on the weekend of the 6-8 June.
69 outfits were on the field from all countries within the United
Kingdom.
Everyone was given a warm
Welcome by the Centre Chairman Mrs LLinos Gass.
The Vice Chairman of the
Caravan Club, Mr Walter Girven accompanied by his wife Jackie pictured

Mr David Jones, Chairman of the Dyfed Centre accompanied by his wife
Margaret, then cut the celebration cake and proposed a toast to the
Centre.
The Rally Marshals supported by Committee and Centre members provided an
active weekend including a walk up the local landmark 'Craigendarroch'.
A drama workshop also took place in the afternoon, and then performed in the evening
before an excellent meal. This was followed by
dancing to a live band.
The Centre was very pleased to have received so much support from North

members from other Scottish Centres, and members of the Caravan Club from

getting any younger and they feel they have moved onto pastures new.
