Cirencester National Follow On
DATE: June 6th – 13th 2012 Wednesday to Wednesday
VENUE: THE GROUNDS OF CIRENCESTER PARK (The National Follow-on).(By kind permission of The Earl and Lady Bathurst)
The Gloucestershire Centre would like to invite all Centres of the South West Region to a National Follow-on rally in the beautiful grounds of Cirencester Park, the Estate of Earl Bathurst. The Park is a mix of woodland and parkland, and from the rally area a short walk through the Park takes you into the centre of the historic Cotswold market town of Cirencester. Once the major Roman town of Corinium, Cirencester has its own Roman Museum , and the Roman Villa at Chedworth is also worth a visit. There are many other nearby places of interest to visit – famous Cotswold villages like Bourton on-the-Water and Bibury, the Historic Docks and Quays Designer Outlet at Gloucester, the Regency towns of Cheltenham and Bath, the Great Western Outlet Village at Swindon and the Cotswold Water Parks to name a few. Situated close to the major road network, this is a superb centre for a relaxing (or a very busy!) Cotswold holiday.
