Message from Hamish Stuart - SCC Chairman

Camp 21, Cultybraggan - our 70th year as SCC

What a rally it was.

I have received so many lovely comments, some super emails and numerous cards all congratulating SCC on a superb and well run event.

The venue, the theme and the participation were excellent.

As you all know running a rally is hard work, with a lot of preparation and planning over a number of months.

Then the real work begins on the day the marshals arrive, but that is when the fun began and continued right through the rally. Your marshals had a ball & from all the messages I and others have received so did all the  members attending.

This could not have been done without the hard work and dedication of the sub committee. Kenny & Elaine, Norman, Dave & Audrey. Alistair & Yvonne and Joyce and I, the rest of SCC council and their partners. And of course all the other helpers who were involved in any way.

We also have to thank those of you who attended for your wholehearted participation because without it we would not have had so much fun.

I think the memories will last a very long time and the rally will be talked about for many years.

Can I on behalf of Joyce and I give a very big thank you to the team , your  SCC council members and everyone who helped in any way to make the Platinum Rally such a memorable event.

I am proud to have been your Chairman at this time and seeing so many of you, the members taking part and enjoying yourselves was a joy to watch.

Many, many thanks to one and all.
