HELP REQUIRED

I’m the CEO of the charitable organisation Cornerstone Community Care (www.cornerstone.org.uk).

We provide care and support across much of Scotland to children, adults and older people with additional support needs, mainly learning disabilities and autism. Much of our support is in individuals homes but also in care homes and group living. We are facing a staffing crisis as a result of COVID-19.

Many of my amazing colleagues have offered to self isolate alongside the people we support but this is a challenge when we have no onsite accommodation that we can offer them.

I’m hoping that you will consider putting a call out across your membership in Scotland to ask if anybody can offer up their mobile homes or caravans to allow staff to live on site with the vulnerable people we support to help prevent to spread of infection to the most vulnerable members of our community.

We would so much appreciate your support in the difficult time. Feel free to give me a call on 07825 050023, or my PA Susan Masser on 01224 256002.

Kindest regards

Hazel

THIS EVENT IS NOW CANCELLED

THIS EVENT WAS TO CELEBRATE 75th ANNIVERSARY OF THE AMALGAMATION OF

THE SCOTTISH CARAVAN CLUB WITH THE CARAVAN CLUB OF GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND

at

Cultybraggan, Comrie, Perthshire

THURSDAY 25th June - TUESDAY 30th JUNE 2020

As you will have probably have heard, the Club have taken the decision to cancel the CAMC National Rally and have advised that social events e.g. Dinner Dances or any other form of social gatherings should be cancelled.

It will therefore probably come as no surprise to you, to hear that the Scottish Caravan Club, took the difficult decision to CANCEL the 75th Celebration Rally due to be held at Cultybraggan between 25th – 30th June 2020. We regret having to take this action, but the safety and wellbeing of our members has to be our primary concern and judging by the amount of Centre Rallies being cancelled, this viewpoint is being echoed by all Scottish Centres
.
