Sunday 4th May - Sunday Service
Along with Joyce and friends, we were so grateful that Jan was able to attend and host the service, following a health scare. The congregation offered bold singing, and with readings by Ann, Iain and Willow the service was enjoyed by all. The collection plate monies will be donated to the Division Chair's charity, Cancer Research.
Sunday Morning Coffee
Our grand raffle was drawn at morning coffee and also the winner of the Dress a Wellie Competition. Chris the organiser was also judged the winner! We also had a vist from The Food Train, Kirsty was delighted to collect £490 collected over the weekend, which will be used to support older people to eat well. age well and live well at home through their shopping, befriending, meals. library, and support at home services

Sunday Afternoon - The Inter-Centre Sports Competition
The teams were taken on a tour of Dumfries and Galloway as they competed of the Patterson trophy for Inter-Centre Sports Champion. Game 1 - Come to Queen of the South training ground and beat the goalie. Game 2 - The scouts are out. Can you score for the Solway Sharks? Game 3 - After a visit to Castle Douglas, The Food Town, carefully carry the food back to the correct bbq. Game 4 - Visit Wigtown, The Book Town and follow the book shop trail. Don't drop the books. Game 5 - Join the stars of Lockerbie Curling Club and Dumfries Ice Bowl for an end or three. Game 6 - Catch the Belties. Game 7 - Visit Henry Duncan's Savings Bank. Take care to invest well.
It was all to play for... Would Forth and Clyde retain their crown and score a hat trick or would their reign by cut be cut short by Highland or Dumfries and Galloway?
IIn the end ... Highland, Dumfries and Galloway, Division nor our Visitor's Team could offer sufficient challenge and Forth and Clyde romped home to claim the trophy for 2025.
Congratulations to Highland, who claimed the cheerleading trophy and commiserations to Dumfries and Galloway who earned the booby prize.
Sunday Evening
Everyone enjoyed a relaxed ceilidh hosted by John Caskie and The McRobert Brothers. After many thank yous for the hard work put in to organise our rally, the rally closed as Iain passed the Scottish Division flag to Linda. On to 2026!
